PROCEDURE FOR JOINING A CLUB
1.
(a) Go to the menu on the left
of this site “CLUBS & CLUB LOCATIONS”,
choose a club at which you want to start at.
(b) Go to the menu on the left of this site “MEMBERSHIP
PACK” then look up “Membership Costs” choose a membership
you want, Bronze being the minimum membership.
Then fully read the
“MEMBERSHIP PACK”
2. (a) Phone to arrange a meeting with Patrick
D’arcy, 01283 792 060 or 07985 238 095
(b) This meeting will
be set up 15 minutes before a class starts and will be at the club you have
chosen.
(c) If a child is
joining they must be present too.
(d) During the
meeting the main points of the “Membership Pack” will be
pointed out to make sure you fully understand the commitment.
(e) If you have not
downloaded the “Membership Pack” from this web site you will
be issued with one at the meeting. You must take the “Pack” home
and read it fully.
You will then watch the first lesson.
3 (a)
On your second visit only bring the form at the back of the pack with you,
filled in and signed, the membership pack is yours to keep for future
reference.
(b) Bring the
correct money for the type of membership you require plus the cost of your
first lesson. Any cheque that
is not cleared by Lichfield & Districts Karate Clubs Bank will incur an
extra cost of £7:50 to the student.
(c) The first lesson will be taken.
4 (a) During the next week your
Licence application will be sent for by Lichfield & Districts Karate Clubs
to the Karate Union of Great Britain, and any suits etc that was ordered.
(b) When your
licence comes back it will be issued to you, please read it, especially all the
rules inside, place a recent picture in it, completely fill it in and sign it.
(c) The licence is
your property and it should only be handed back at times of Gradings or for
licence to be re-newed.
